Old Mutual has been operating in Rwanda since 2015, having acquired a majority stake in UAP Insurance Holdings group. In 2021, the business has fully rebranded and is now operating as Old Mutual Insurance Rwanda Plc. Old Mutual Rwanda is part of the Old Mutual Group which employ over 27 000 people and operate in 13 countries across two regions: Africa (South Africa, Botswana, eSwatini, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe) and Asia (China).

Motor Insurance

Here’s our step-by-step claims process for Motor Insurance. You can quickly and easily file a claim through our online platform by visiting https://menyesha.oldmutual.rw/

  • Declare your claim
  • Fill your claim form
  • For third party holder: a copy of insurance certificate, a copy of driving license, and a copy of yellow card
  • For a comprehensive holder, we will need: a copy of insurance certificate,  a copy of driving license and a copy of yellow card. Furthermore, an estimate: one estimate when below 1,000,000 Rwf and for above 1,000,000 Rwf two estimates are required and lastly, we will need a police report.
